WHY WE EXIST

Every lasting memory
begins with love.

Lasting Memory began with the love between a grandson and his grandmother.

When Robert's beloved Nani was placed on comfort care during her final days, he flew from Fresno, California, to St. Louis, Missouri, to be by her side. Through every chapter of his life — the highest highs and the lowest lows — Nani had been the one person he could always count on.

“My Bobby… you are the strength of this family.”

Those words changed everything

Robert wanted to give her one final gift — not one that could be wrapped, but one that could be remembered forever. He thought about the place that had always brought her the greatest joy: Yosemite. For years, Nani had loaded her three children into the car and driven from Fresno to see the waterfalls and granite cliffs, so they might know the wonders this world had to offer.

So Robert turned to what he knew best — technology. He gently placed a virtual reality headset over his Nani's eyes and took her back to Yosemite.

01For a few precious moments, the hospital room disappeared.
02She wasn't surrounded by machines.
03She was standing once again beneath the beauty of Yosemite.
04Her face lit up with an unforgettable smile.

If one simple experience could bring that much comfort to someone facing the end of life, imagine what it could do for countless others.

That moment became Lasting Memory.

Because sometimes the greatest gift isn't more time — it's making the time we have unforgettable.
